The event is taking place in the big room of the Wrexham Lager Club, and tickets are limited. Tickets will be on sale very soon and will cost £12 each, including your curry!!

Lane End Workingmen’s Club, Buckley

The Supporters Trust have been looking to go out into other areas in a bid to help promoting Wrexham AFC. It is with this in mind that we are looking to hold Fans Forum’s in areas where there is a large Wrexham contingent.

The first one of these events is due to be held on Wednesday 15th March at the Lane End Workingmen’s Club in Buckley. The top table of the Forum will have two Trust Board members, and hopefully Wrexham manager Denis Smith, and one or two players.

The evening will begin at 7.30pm for 8pm. Non members are welcome to come along, and hopefully they will join on the night. This is a great chance for those fans in the Flintshire area to have their say on Wrexham Football Club on there own door step.

Wrexham vs Anderlecht 30th Anniversary Reunion

Fri, 10/03/2006 - 19:30

Centenary Club, Wrexham Racecourse

On Friday 10th March the Shropshire Reds are holding a 30th Anniversary reunion of the Wrexham team that reached the quarter-finals of the European Cup Winners Cup in 1975/76. Players invited include Brian Lloyd, Gareth Davies, Graham Whittle, Mel Sutton, Billy Ashcroft, Arfon Griffiths etc, and manager John Neal.

They will recall memories of those memorable giant-killing days, when Wrexham came so close to beating an Anderlecht side who had Dutch World Cup stars such as Robbie Rensenbrink and Arie Haan in a team that went on to win the trophy by beating West Ham United in the final.

The evening will be held at the Centenary Club, Wrexham, and tickets will be £10 each, including Hotpot. Proceeds from this evening will be donated to the Trust.
