Gôl! was founded in September 2002 by a group of Welsh football fans who wanted to “… make a difference …” on their visit to Baku, Azerbaijan to follow the Welsh football team.
Following a visit to several orphanages in Baku with gifts of footballs, football kits, toys and cash donations, visits to orphanages have since become a regular feature of Welsh fans’ away trips.
Gol! is now asking fans to donate old Welsh shirts for orphans across the world. The appeal, which has received some great publicity recently in the Wales on Sunday, is aimed at Welsh fans across the Principality.
Welsh fans from Gol! will distribute the shirts to orphans on their next trip abroad watching the Wales team. If you have a shirt to donate please drop it off in the Club Shop at the Racecourse.
